Uploading a batch of scans
- Organise your photos into folders, with a single scan in each folder
- Set the name of each folder to the name of the material
- Add a new batch folder on AWS S3 using details supplied by Bandicoot
- Upload your scan folders into the batch folder on AWS S3
- Log into the Bandicoot web app and switch to the Create screen
- Select the 🪣 Upload photos via S3 tab
- Copy the S3 path to the batch folder then paste it into the S3 path entry
- Click: Process scans
- After a few moments, the scan folders from inside your batch folder will appear as new materials on the Processing screen
- After each scan is imported, a file called
00_SCAN_IMPORTED.json
is added to the scan folder on your S3 bucket
- This means the photos from that scan folder have been imported into our scan processing storage, and it is safe for you to delete the scan folder folder from your S3 bucket
For example if you name your batch folder batch 1
:
- Inside
batch 1
arrange multiple sub-folders
- Each sub-folder contains the photos for one scan
